Formatting:

Assignments can be accepted via email attachment in plain text format, or with most Microsoft based packages (such as Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher, Works, etc.).

We run MS Office XP on Windows 2000, alongside PC-based DTP packages such as QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop & Corel Draw.

Proofreading:

For manuscripts up to 3000 words: £20.00 (fixed fee)

For work over 3000 words: £14.00 per hour*

Copy-editing:

For manuscripts up to 3000 words: £25.00 (fixed fee)

For work over 3000 words: £15.00 per hour*

Document Design:

Design projects are quoted on individual requirements (please see below)**

CV Creation:

Fixed fee: £20.00

Web Check:

For proofreading, checking links and download times, etc: £15.00 per site

For changes to programming (other than basic HTML): You must be joking!!!

* Fees are based on electronic mark up. We are only able to accept work online at present. However, should you need to supply work via disk or hard copy please contact us and we will be happy to suggest an alternative and reliable source.

** Please email us in the first instance for quotes on special projects, based on an assessment of individual requirements.

NB: Due to the nature of proofreading & editing (some work may require far more correction than others) it is difficult to give accurate time frames for completion of certain assignments. For longer or more complexed pieces of work, we will accept a sample of up to five pages free of charge in order to assess the volume of changes that may be required.
